ANINWAA

It was when I was ten years old that I wrote my very first story, and I can still remember the joy of watching my classmates pass it around, eager to know what would happen in the next chapter. That moment really planted a seed in me, and it has grown into a love for storytelling that has never left.

As the years went by, though, life kept pulling me in different directions. I was encouraged to take a more “secure” path, so writing slowly turned into something that I only did quietly, on the side. However, even when I was silent about it, the stories never really stopped coming. I still have journals, documents, and scraps of paper filled with hundreds of unfinished pieces of characters that continue to speak to me and poems that are still waiting to be shared.

For a long time, though, I really doubted myself. Was my English even good enough? Would anyone care to read what I wrote? These questions stayed with me, but through all of that hesitation, one truth has always remained: I am a writer.

Now, I have finally decided to honor that truth. I write poetry and stories, but more importantly, I am learning not only how to create them, but also how to share them. This portfolio is the next step in that journey, and I am inviting you into my world of words.
