Many tiny reasons

Many tiny reasons

I like the smell of Darjeeling tea

I like Stracciatella for the strands of bitter chocolate

And nothing beats getting your feet in a cold lake on a summer midday

I like plain omelette on a cold morning

A soupcon of syrup in a long glass Latte Macchiato

And nothing beats the sweetness of a Coconut Kiss on a night out

I like the sun that brings itself out on a freezing winter day

The rain that falls late at night while you tuck yourself under a duvet

The full moon that makes you want to stare at the dark blue sky the whole night

I like the stillness in the quiet nights

The reflection of the light pole in the calm river

The way the darkness comforts, tingles, and scares all at the same time

I like how the leaves turn yellow in autumn

I like the way they knowingly put me in a daze

And nothing beats flattering nature with a set of two eyes

I like that I can feel

I like that I can see

I like that there are many tiny reasons to enjoy my life
